Assange, Out On A Limb Or Following His Own Plan?

I was reading up about this talented young man and his ability to expose government secrets and make them transparent around the world.  As I read about him, I wonder how he will fair against the US government.

On the one hand he is not a US citizen, so technically, US laws do not apply to him.  On the other hand, the US government has a long reach and a lot of power and influence.Whether they will be able to parlay that influence and power into an extradition is an interesting question.

His story is an interesting one, he was a young prodigy apparently and started his originally hacking exploits on a Commodore 64 computer at a young age, I think it was around 10 years old or so.

If his aim is greater government transparency for all governments, I think that is a good goal.  Again, he faces some tough challenges in regards to keeping himself out of jail.

His life may have been simpler if he had stuck to some easier challenges such as perfecting tonsil stone removal or getting rid of bad breath with the use of an essential oil blend such as they have at oramd.Or perhaps, spreading the word about the Hydro Floss oral irrigator for better dental health, would have been a pursuit that would be less likely to end in jail time.

One thing I admire him for is his belief that something should be done about the tremendous suffering in this world.  Human beings are very cruel to each other in a variety of ways.  Our entire eco-political system is still about the rich and powerful stepping on the backs of the weak and (relatively poor).

The US government has a lot of manpower, money and resources to put into this.  While Assange may be a millionaire by now, it will be interesting to see if he has enough resources and resourcefulness to evade capture and / or prosecution.
