Burma, officially known as the Union of Myanmar, had two earthquakes in the afternoon of Thursday, March 24. The 6.8 and 4.8 magnitude earthquakes occurred close to Myanmar’s border with China and Thailand. The earthquakes were too far inland to cause major tsunamis.
